You have more than 3 years of professional experience, preferably in an international sales environment.
You have demonstrated the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and you have demonstrated the ability to build reporting structures from scratch.
A Bachelor’s degree (preferably in finance or economics) is preferred or equivalent through experience and/or training.
This role within the Financial Planning and Analysis group is the primary liaison with and partner to the Commercial group.
The Financial Analyst role will :
a) represent the business effectively to the Commercial team,
b) relay events, challenges, and opportunities from the commercial group into financial reporting, and
c) support the commercial group with reporting and informational requests, both routine and ad-hoc, that have a financial component
Accountabilities
- Responsible for generating and consolidating monthly revenue forecasts from across the business
- Responsible for leading monthly departmental performance reviews against forecast and maintaining a framework that gives commercial leadership the ability to have data-driven accountability for their key account managers.
- Generates commercial flexible reporting for executive leadership and Board of Directors reporting
- Expected to ad hoc analyze and identify trends in commercial performance to drive strong decision-making
- Effectively partners with the Commercial group to drive collaborative reporting, both ad-hoc and evergreen
- Continual improvement of existing processes and procedures.
Profile requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree (in finance or economics) or equivalent through experience and/or training;
- You have more than 3 years of professional experience, preferably in an international sales environment;
- At least 3 years or enough experience to have demonstrated the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and enough experience to have demonstrated the ability to build reporting structures from scratch;
- Practical experience in data collection from ERP systems to prepare reporting statements, including collaboration with IT team to generate data;
- Forecasting and variance analysis;
- Strong understanding of income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements and some modelling experience;
- Practical experience in sales & marketing driven environment (preferred);
- Understanding of medical diagnostics industry is an asset;

Knowledge on ERP systems (experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus) and familiar with BI reporting tools (preferred)
