Lab Technician QC / OMPS

The Lab Technician QC/OMPS performs receiving inspection of incoming materials and routine laboratory experiments on incoming materials, semi-finished and finished products using specific lab procedures, methods and techniques. He/she performs experiments in view of investigations or continuous improvements.

 

Accountabilities

  • Plans and performs QC analysis for release, stability, method validation and transfer conform to the GxP guidelines and applicable instructions;
  • Plans and performs experiments in view of investigations or continuous improvement precisely according to instructions and with minimal guidance;
  • Summarizes analyses and interprets data in order to draw conclusions. Prepares the experimental set-up and writes reports in ELN that record data or results, with minimal guidance;
  • Can summarize and present project related technical data with minimal guidance;
  • Reports and investigates lab and incoming inspection non-conformities conform the SOP's;
  • Follows GLP rules, policies, SOP’s and other applicable guidelines concerning safety, quality, working conditions and environment;
  • Evaluates QMS processes and provides feedback to Quality colleagues for continuous improvement;
  • Supports in overall lab coordination and logistic activities. Fully takes up responsibility in lab cleanliness and audit readiness; and contributes in context of lab and/or equipment responsibilities.

 

Profile requirements

  • Bachelor or Master in Sciences or equivalent by training/experience;
  • Preferably 2 years of industry experience in a regulated lab environment;
  • Basic knowledge of analytical/chemical techniques and control of lab equipment;
  • Basic knowledge of molecular biological techniques (qPCR) and terms;
  • Team player;
  • Responsible for organising own time and resources in an optimal manner;
  • Problem identification, problem analysis and problem solving;
  • Result driven;
  • Eagerness to learn/assimilate novel concepts;
  • Respects peers and their work/working environment;
  • Flexibility;

  • PC skills:
    • Knowledge and proficient use of Biocartis software and database applications:
      • Spotfire
      • Biorad
      • LIMS database system
      • Quality Management system
    • Applied knowledge of MS Office
  • Languages:
    • Excellent knowledge of English
    • Excellent knowledge of Dutch is a must.
